πŸŽƒ Painting PumSkull on a 2’x2′ wooden surface

A peek inside my painting process for PumSkull – from first sketch to final details.
This piece started as a pencil outline on raw wood and evolved into a layered, textured painting built with acrylic and ink. I love how the natural grain shows through and adds its own personality to the chaos.

Each stage below shows the transformation – the rough layout, the blocked-in tones, the color explosion, and finally the finished skater ready to roll straight out of the frame.

Lionel Richie said it best: “Out of the silence comes the receiving.”
That’s the truth of it. I don’t plan the painting. I just listen until it tells me what it wants to be.

Find peace in the chaos.
